This year Chloe and Abby were on the A honor roll and Hannah was on the A/B honor roll (she got an 89 one time in math)! Abby received two special awards 1 was Best 1st Grade Girl Music Student and Most Words Read in 1st Grade Award! Hannah and Chloe both received awards for Soaring Eagles! And of course our mini me was dressed up for the awards!

Helicopter Visits School

Right before school got out one of the dad's brought his helicopter up for the kids to climb in and explore! It was so much fun the best part was watching it fly into our parking lot! As it was flying in Lily said "Mom that's 1 yellow copter, do they make pink ones?"Every time I turned around Jackson was asking me to take his picture with Lily, so here they are together! Boy does Lily miss seeing him everyday at school!

Baa's 80

In May Baa ( my grandmother) turned 80! We had a little dinner at her favorite place to go for birthday's. We are so blessed to have her around! Baa HATES Walmart so for her birthday the girls had to make her cards saying things like "Ditch Whole Foods I'm who you really love! Love, Walmart" and "Dear Baa I don't know what I've done to make you hate me so much, but I still love you. Love, Walmart" The girls think it is super funny to tease her about Walmart, they always talk about dropping her off there!

Our house was full of pink goodies for a Pink Princess Party! Just as it was time for the party Lily noticed that her nails were not polished and had a moment, " I need to be fancy everywhere my nail will make me party no fancy" as her friend arrived she was having her nails polished! As soon as they were dry she greeted everyone by saying"It my Princess Party welcome let's party" The little girls had a blast playing dress up and in the playroom we hardly got to any of the games I had planned! It was a fun time and Lily was so sad when the party was over:)

Waking Up and Being 3

Lily was so excited to be awakened by everyone singing Happy Birthday to you to her, she was beaming! Off we went downstairs so she could see the princess magic I made for her party while she was sleeping. She couldn't stop looking at it long enough to get a photo of her face!

Opening the presents was a big thing this time around she wanted to open everything and see how it worked right away before moving on to the next one!

Pink Arm No More:)

Here is sweet Lily sleeping for the last night with her Pink Arm! With her guard bear "Bears" like she does every night:)

On March 16Th it was off to the Ortho Dr to have the cast removed! She was so brave and watched with excitement as the cast was cut off!

It's off "Mommy I have 2 arms again, but my no more broken arm needs a bath its dirty dirty" She wouldn't even put her jacket on to go home she was afraid she was going to make it dirty, so off we went home to wash it!

And wash it she did for almost an hour:)

As soon as Chloe sat back down after getting her ribbon Lily turned to me and said " I tell Chloe I so proud you be back 1 minute k mommy"Abby received a Superior rating and the 1st grade GOLD Metal for her Bible Verse and meaning

I didn't get a photo but when they announced that Abby got the Gold Metal Lily stood up on the chair and started singing "We got the gold gold metal go Abby go Abby you did it!"

Miss Priss and her Monday

Her day started out at school with 2 of her boys (as she calls them) polishing her toes! After telling them "me toes nails need a manipeer" She of course had to have pink polish and the boys informed her they only had dark pink and light pink the hot pink was gone gone!

We left school early for her eye recheck (her right eye is turning in a little) the Dr said she has to wear her "princess patch" for 45 min. per day til we go back in June! So far so good she loves her "princess patch" today she even reminded me she needed to wear it.

Yes she wore that tutu all day, somethings are worth fighting over and others are not! Here she instructed me to take a photo of all her "love names" on her cast, and then she wanted to pose in her custom made slings:) she is such a ham! Friday Lily went back to her Ortho appointment. and we were told her arm is totally healed 3 weeks in her cast and she's healed! God is GOOD! The Dr. wants to leave it on 2 extra weeks so on March 16Th she will no longer have a hot pink arm:) Just in time for her to turn 3!

Here she is at her first meet with World of Gymnastics! She was great and just as we expected nervous for the first 2 bars (8.7) and beam or bean as she calls it (8.8) and calm and cool for floor (9.65) and vault (9.5) Abby LOVES her new team leotard and is praying yes I said praying that someone will buy her a new practice leotard with a peace sign on for Easter, she is so into peace signs right now :)

Lily has not been stopped by her pink arm! Her fanciness has been brought to a whole new level! Now she even needs to have pink hair while being fancy:) This week she was able to start having her cast signed, she has been walking around with a sharpie saying" you sign mine arm?" I secretly think she likes having a broken arm, since she has a permanent pink accessory to make her fancy!

What fun it was to have Valentines Day fall on a Sunday, we went to church and saw all of our great friends and then came home and had a wonderful day together as a family! It was full of lots of hugs, kisses and I love yous just like it should be:)

Lily's Hot Pink Arm

Yesterday was a busy, busy day! When the day ended, we were home relaxing Lily decided to do some gymnastics (flip) off the couch and ended up breaking both bones in her forearm. After getting her IV put in the nice nurse brought her, her first bear of the evening! While we were waiting to see the ortho Dr she named the bear "Mommy him name 'Flippy' cause I doing flips off you couch" In the procedure room she saw her arm x-rays and said "Oh Daddy those you arms" He told her they were hers then she said to me "Look Mommy those my arms with ouchie member the man take my arm picture?" They also showed her the cast colors to see which one she wanted when she saw the pink one her eyes got really really but and her face lit up with a big smile:) That was the color for her! After she woke up from having her arm set and casted she ate 2 rainbow pops and we were on our way to the car in a red wagon, "Oh Mommy they knew I like fancy wagons" Then off we went home:)

For the last few week the girls have been working on their cars painting them and decorating them! They were all sprayed with glitter spray paint (doesn't look like it in the photos)! None of our cars were fast but they sure looked good and the girls had fun working on them and that's what matters right;)

Over the break we went to see a few movies, but the girls favorite was... can you guess the new Chipmunks movie! It was really cute hearing Lily giggle in all the right places and start to understand what is going on in the movie! Hannah said Alvin was bad, bad to the bone! Never a dull moment in our house:)

As many of you know we attend such a great church and LOVE Awanas! On Wednesday nights our church has dinner before all the activities. It's great mom gets a night off from the kitchen and everyone is fed and we are on time for Awanas what could be better! As you see below the drink table had two visitors under it. Lily and her "fest friend" Cora who were getting into God's word and fellowshipping with each other in the fellowship hall while the rest of us were eating dinner:)

As many of you know 2 weeks ago Hannah's 2ND grade teacher left the school! Hannah was so upset for the first 24 hours we talked about how God had a plan for Mrs. Jones and he also had one for LCCS 2ND graders. So she started praying that God would bring her the teacher who fit his plan, I told her every time she was sad about losing Mrs. Jones that she should pray for the new teacher God was bringing to the school! She did and well we got a call Thursday night telling us a new teacher had been hired and she was starting on Monday! This afternoon all the 2ND graders were invited to come and meet Mrs. Hackler :)

We hardly ever see Abby in normal clothes she is either wearing her school uniform or a gymnastics leotard:) She has started practicing with the level 5 girls getting ready to move up next season (starts in Jan)! She is doing great in school make 100s left and right on everything from Bible and Spelling to Math! First Day of School at LCCS

Today was the first day of school, and if you had asked me two weeks ago how I thought the first day of school would go I would have said terrible, but as of Sunday night the girls were so excited! This morning there was no whining or grumbles when I said it was time to get up, they just popped up and got in the shower!

Hannah's last riding lesson was great! It was so nice and cool out so we all went to watch her (its been since before school got out) She is doing great and loving it! Wednesday of last week I was cleaning Lily's room because for the thousandth time she emptied all her drawers all over the floor:) When all of the sudden I smell this smell, its a familiar smell, but I just can't place it. I walk out of her room towards the stairs it gets stronger and stronger and turn and go into my room and then i figure out the smell is coming from my bathroom. I turn the corner and there standing at the drawers with her back to the door was Lily.

Sick at Camp :(

In case you haven't heard poor sweet Hannah was running a 102 fever after being at camp less than 24 hours:( Hannah was crying and crying saying she wanted to go home so her counselor sent her to the nurse to talk to her. The nurse was loving on her telling her she going to have a great time when she noticed she was burning up. So after a first rough night of her and Chloe crying and sneaking into each others beds (which is against camp rules) their counselor gave in at 11:15 and let them sleep together the first night. The second night was when Hannah was sick and in the nurses cabin, after dinner Chloe "hurt" her leg and got sent to the nurse she was crying when she got there Hannah heard came running out the hugged and hugged and wouldn't let go! The nurse said she felt bad sending Chloe back to her cabin, but she had to. Come to find out this afternoon they both cried themselves to sleep last night the nurse rubbed Hannah's back until she fell asleep and Chloe's counselor had to get in bed with her until she fell asleep. Hannah saw the camp Dr today at 1 and he found nothing wrong with her, her fever broke around 11:30. The Dr asked the nurse to keep her until dinner time just to make sure it didn't come back! When it was time to get ready for dinner Hannah's whole cabin came to pick her up, Chloe and Hannah hugged and cried and said to each other I love you, I missed you so much. The nurse said they all skipped off:) Then nurse did say she would be lonely now Hannah was very entertaining;) (that's out Hannah)

The girls had so much stuff to take to camp (and I mean so much stuff) Here are the bags they took with they totally full of stuff:)

Among some of the things in there bag were these items that I added to, to make them a little extra special for camp!

They both had a pair of these made from their jeans that had holes in the knees:)

and here are a few of the shirts I decorated so their new friends at camp would know who was who! There were 6 more but some how I didn't get photos of them before the girls got off to camp:)

End of Gymnastics Session

They had a little show with all the classes and the team got to show off their stuff at the end of the show! Here they are hanging out with their coaches while the classes performed! Abby has truly made some amazing friends I hope she keeps for the rest of her life! Lily is looking forward to start her gymnastics class this summer to be just like Abby:)

So Hannah and Chloe had their last day of school, they had school for 1 hour and then there was an assembly where they gave out charcter awards and each grade 1-5 sang a song! If you notice I have two sets of twins in these photos! Here is Lily praying when they started.

A Wild Ride

Hannah and Chloe had a special chapel at school, so Michele and Regan offered to take Lily home with them while I went! Regan took Lily on a ride in her pink car, then gave her driving lessons, Lily however only figured out how to go backwards. She had a great time and now wants a car of her own! (Thanks Regan)

This afternoon on our way home the snow cone stand had NO line which we never see so we had to stop and get one to cool off with! Lily and I were putting away winter clothes today and found and put on some uniform shorts and a polo! She was so funny, even asked for a bow for her hair:) Do you think someone is ready to go to school or what?

What a day it was for Abbygail, yesterday she graduated Kindergarten and today she flew on a plane alone. Her Grandpa was coming on a flight to get her and it got cancelled and he couldn't get on the next flight here, so Abbygail said she wanted to go by herself and she did. Not one tear she was so tired of waiting for the plane, while we were at the gate she said " can the plane get here already or what?" I am sure I wasn't helping her by having my camera out and taking her picture about 100 times! At the check in counter getting her ticket (she is happy and so excited and truly is happy to pose for a photo)

A Week of Awards

So we had a week full of awards ones from church and school this week:)

Here is Lily's award for going to Puggles on Wednesday nights! She was so proud and the only Puggle that went down and got her award. They called her name she looked at me and said "Mama my name?" I said yes then she took off down the aisle to get gave the leaders high five held up her paper and said " I did it" and she came running back to her seat:)

On Friday Abbygail graduated Kindergarten! (watch for a whole post about this) At Awanna's she earned a ribbon for finishing her whole workbook, a review patch, and several jewels for her Hand Glider wings:)

Chloe was on the A honor roll this year and earned 2 excellent (98 and above) and 3 distinguished (95 and above)

Hannah was on A honor roll this year and earned 4 excellent and 1 distinguished awards

Horse Riding Hannah

Hannah is enjoying her riding lessons so much she hates it when her hour is up and can never wait for her next lesson:) Her teacher said during this last lesson she could NOT get Hannah to stop talking and telling her stories about school. The teacher said that is a very good sign it means she is very confident and comfortable on the horse. (most kids who have had as many lessons as Hannah are still nervous and not that comfortable on the horse)

She was so nervous during the first event then seem to be herself by the last one:) She had the best time and can't wait until August when she starts competition season. She slept all night in her big girls bed once she went to sleep she got up once to go potty :) What a big girl she is. When she woke up this morning she got out of bed turned off her night light came out of her room and announced "I did it I sleep my big girl bed" she was so proud of herself. The big girls clapped and cheered for her :)

We had the best time celebrating with Zachary and his family! The girls had the best time making a "family train" and going down the big slide :) They were all smiles to jump and play with Zachary for his birthday.

On Friday after school we went to the school picnic and the girls had a blast jumping, shooting, climbing, petting, and being with their friends! Hannah didn't make it very far up, Chloe made it half way up, and Abby of course went all the way to the top :)

We had a great time eating lunch with out family and then hunting eggs at Pops and Mia's house. Lily found the big money egg and was so excited! We had Racheal, Patrick, and Kadence over for dinner, the big girls hid plastic eggs for the little girls and they had the best time finding them. Since Easter we have had many egg hunts in the playroom.

Hannah is loving her riding lessons, she is doing so well that in about a month she will be able to start doing some jumps:) She is so excited. The rest of the family has been enjoying her lessons too since the weather has been so great. (Well Hannah and Chloe are less than thrilled about be outside with the bugs)
